The Nutcracker Prince

edited January 2015 in Theater
Recently, while reading the IMDb's entry on Howard, I noticed that among the credits bearing his name was a 1990 Canadian-produced animated film called THE NUTCRACKER PRINCE, for which Howard wrote the screenplay, and also a couple of songs (with music by Alan Menken). The full synopsis of the film is available here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100281/plotsummary?ref_=tt_stry_pl

Usually, such story material repels me, but, since it's something that Howard (supposedly) contributed to, my interest has been piqued.

What I would like to know is, why has it not been mentioned here (or anywhere else) before? Can you explain this to me, please?

  • It's not been mentioned because it isn't true.

Oh, it isn't? Well, color ME corrected!

WHY would they create such a fabrication, do you suppose?
  • Don't know but one of the reasons we created this site was to try to counter some of the odd internet misinformation that comes up from time to time

OK. Well, thanks for clearing that up. Boy, do I feel gullible for falling for that IMDb article!
